“You call hamburgers steamed hams?” asked the stitched.

Nothing says “this is fine” like a rimworld colonist with both heatstroke and hypothermia

If it wasn’t for ender you’d all be speaking bug alien person language, show some respect

Have never read Enders Game anyway Ender was right about everything, “the enemies gate is down” was a stroke of genius, he is the rightful leader of the space children academy or whatever

just like luciferium tea enhances all of my physical and mental states but I must drink it constantly or I go mad then die

what im saying is wanna see if theres a mod stack i can get to set up rimworld but snowpiercer, which has the same energy (outside and inside are just flipped around)

my first idea is sea ice start but you're not allowed to build parkas

goal is building something like Breslauer Weather Station, which is basically a rimworld base that ended when the pawns had a mood break from cannibalism

the aesthetic of the cryochamber is very nice, I feel.

like, building the sarcophagi in the cryochamber isn't like normal construction.

instead you gear up with the warmest gear you can, and make an EVA into this totally alien environment, spend a few minutes working with thick gloves, until the outside seeps through even your protective gear and you have to leave.

plus the cryochamber and the freezer are the only places on the entire map where you don't get heatstroke. cryochamber causes hypothermia, which is not ideal, so everyone's spending a lot of time in the freezer. built an emergency hospital in there too because the normal hospital is too hot to recover from heatstroke

so there's just been a global warming which makes everything hotter and then a heatwave which makes everything hotter hotter and anyway it turns out this is the perfect time to do work inside the cryochamber because it's only -100C so hypothermia takes more than instantly to set in
