Hmm.
One thing that I like about Twitter is the way it makes clear that you're seeing a reply deep in a thread.
Mastodon doesn't make that super clear. (Not sure if the problem is Mastodon or Tusky, but it's not great on either.)

Here's some screenshots. The reply (from Tetraspace) doesn't have an obvious indicator that it's part of a thread.
By comparison, Twitter shows the first post in the thread and has a little line down the side, and a link to the thread expansion.
@WomanCorn @TetraspaceGrouping #TwidereX does this, but I think it's literally the only one that does. Perhaps the official #Mastodon app shows threads this way, as I believe the #TwidereX team works on the official #Mastodon app as well.
