Oh ah, FYI, I tend to follow anyone who interacts with me, 'cause I figure I probably will enjoy interacting with people who thought things I said were worth interacting with. If you wanna deny that I won't hold a grudge. 😉

I find it harder to evaluate if someone is "worth" following on fedi than on Twitter, because on Twitter I could scroll their profile and see if I like their posts, while on fedi I only see posts that my instance has discovered, which may be just the one good post that got boosted.

It's harder to see if someone has good vibes.

@WomanCorn If you click on their picture in that summary view it'll open up their page on their instance and that'll show you their full history. I'm puzzled as to why this isn't built into the client.

@WomanCorn Yeah, the UX has not seen a lot of improvement, so there are still quite a few opaque-to-new-users edges on it, that everyone using it regularly forgot.
