i can see why children believe this.
it’s because of two things:
1. their mental reality has been heavily controlled and propagandised with facts like this
2. (important!) their material reality has also been controlled to match this too

its an adaptive trait present in the majority of the population.
If logic collides with acquired moral dogma, the dogma overrides it.
From my years of observing this effect in otherwise intelligent people, i'm pretty sure they don't notice it happening.

@alex to be fair, we xenoestrogenites make that statistic less and less true each year
kids aren’t dumb, they’re just ignorant, and they’ve been systematically lied to by the public school system.
when you haven’t hit puberty, everyone looks the same. who’s a boy and who’s a girl can seem plain irrelevant when admin has violently destroyed every social distinction
