You're having a rough one over the course of a few months. During that, you hang out with a new friend. You are signaling engagement and enjoyment. You thank them for taking the time to hang out and say you enjoyed it.
"are you getting something positive out of me reaching out regularly *or* is it nice having the option to be able to reply?" sounds really petty if the tone is read incorrectly, but it's the question i want answered as the reacher-out
Exact same premise as above except they agree to requests to hang out and seem like they have a genuinely good time, thank you afterwards, etc.
But they never initiate text convos or hangouts, and often leave you on read. They mention depression. What *should* you do?
