In what way is Mastodon better than Bluesky? Outside of the decentralization model for itself, I mean?
@alea I think the last few years have made clear why centralized control of social media platforms is just an awful idea, I'm on fedi out of sheer belief on the idea of a decentralized social media platform despite all the warts.
@meltedbrain_y2k I think bluesky leadership is fine for now, if they deliver the promised decentralization before they go mad then they'll have fulfilled their mission
