@danzaburou i mean i know why. i think that if i receive pushback to a statement, they will actually consider your argument. what ends up happening more often than not is they cherry pick and disregard inconvenient evidence so their argument remains valid. and i don’t think its malicious, they just have such an optimistic view of the world that arguments against that world view can’t be true.
