dreams blending is fun. dreamt last night that I was going hiking. I was carrying a plastic box inside a plastic bag. inside of the box was a smoothie I had been making in a different dream. the smoothie was also a remixed music video (how? idk) I was making in yet another dream.
also I was hiking barefoot. hiking in shoes wasn't even up for consideration — the choice was between hiking in socks and hiking barefoot. I tried being in my socks at first, then I thought "wait, I'm an idiot, you're supposed to hike barefoot, not in socks" and took them off.
I was really proud of the smoothie I made. I was experimenting with blending together different fruits and veggies I had on hand. the order I put them in corresponded to the cuts I made in my music video remix, and when I started the blender, the video would play.
(this wasn't actually happening "in" the dream, but at a higher level, like I was perceiving the connections between two dreams as they played out at the same time. in the dream I just thought I was making a smoothie.)
didn't want to hike while carrying a plastic bag, since I wanted both my hands free. so I, standing outside at the trailhead, leaned forward and reached into my closet at home, and procured an old hiking backpack I had. much better.
