Today I was having trouble finding some information on Google search (when is the first day of school in my city's public school district for the 2023-2024 school year). I decided to try AI. ChatGPT told me it couldn't answer questions like that. Bard flatly gave me the wrong answer. (AFAICT, Bard's answer was drawn from a local news article giving a date for the 2022-2023 school year.)
I don't know what the moral of this story is but I don't think I like it
@domenic yeah, Bing wins in this case for knowing its limitations -- tells me that it can't find an answer for 2023-2024 but last year it was August 17th
