i think what i’m hitting is the normal limit of naive rationalist inquiry
“you can do semi-effective things that affect your performance only in the office, but we can’t suggest anything that changes your relationship with your non-professional life” although that’s not quite true either
but recommending you learn about <leadership strategy> or <new javascript framework> is fine
people are non-dualists but it’s taboo to recommend to an employee that they meditate or work out or go on more walks or eat differently
this isn’t bad, just noticing it
