A python program for 2-way texting with the REYAX RYLR998 33cm band LoRa module and the Raspberry Pi 4. GOTA with a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.5, a RYLR998 module, five wires and ten female-female GPIO connectors. No threads: only asynchronous non-blocking I/O calls.

For reasons I cannot entirely fathom, I ordered a Meshtastic Station G1 from Tindie, and now I have to reprogram the firmware for 33cm amateur use, following https://meshtastic.org/docs/software/python/cli/usage#ham-radio-support

Good thing my Waveshare LoRa HATs resisted my programming. The REYAX RYLR998 led to a programming project (still in progress), and God willing, I might even build a 33cm band repeater.

I had a strange dream that I was in this hotel-like building that had rooms furnished with a bed, a small desk and chair, and a lamp. A man was making my bed and told me that my room was ready.

"Why am I here?"

"You're here to die," the man said

"I see. Do you know what my condition is?"

"I don't know. I only make the beds and clean up. Someone else will tell you."

"The room is nice." I had aged and was now mentally diminished. I stood in the doorway not knowing what to do.

Wasn't that boring?

The difference between value and price, recognized by traders, institutions, market makers, etc., attempting to make a buck on the market, has spawned individual theories for determining the value of equities, options, commodities, etc., as opposed to their price (such theories are sometimes known as the trader's "edge") and methodologies for not losing your shirt (risk management). Both are needed.

Somewhere I read or picked up in the environment that "value" is a "Marxist" notion (and therefore, "non-economic" and "illegitimate") and that "price" is a capitalist notion. But equity and commodity traders continually seek "undervalued" shares and commodities, meaning shares and commodities for which "the market" has cleared prices below their "true" value. Also, there isn't a unitary "market" but many mechanism designs for clearing prices. Otherwise, there would be only one thing to learn.
