seeing a fresh resurgence of people talking about how transhumanism is bad/satanic
once again have that awful feeling that if I'd peered deeply enough into the Vigilant Citizen blog in 2012 I would have been able to predict the entire decade, but would have shattered my psyche
@meanderingexile i happen to think escaping a limiting bodily frame is cool and good, although without radical social reform any technological advancement is bad.
@icedquinn i think agreed, though I'm honestly more and more technology focused as time goes on. Bearish on society spontaneously jumping to a better equilibrium, bullish on empowering people and changing the boundary conditions from the bottom up
