Today we celebrate #WorldMilkDay!

There is so much different milk these days, there is definitely a milk for you. You want a creamy texture and sweet flavor, go for #OatMilk. You're more into a nutty flavor? Go for #AlmondMilk. Is violently taking away a baby from its mother and killing it a few weeks later more your thing, go for #CowMilk. Or if you prefer a healthy drink rich in protein and calcium, go for #SoyMilk. 🥛

@erwinrossen For those who are looking for dairy products without the calf separation you're highlighting, the key search term is "cow-with-calf".

Two possible UK sources are The Ethical Dairy (theethicaldairy.co.uk) and Old Hall Farm (oldhallfarm.co.uk).

@mgj That is indeed somewhat better. I had heard of a similar initiative in NL called "Kalf bij Koe". zuiverzuivel.nl/kalf-bij-de-ko

If you read a bit further then, it turns out that they still separate them after 5 weeks (bulls) or 3 months (cows).

Although I really appreciate the efforts, I think this initiative is too little too late.
