Tbh I still believe that Human Security System is one of the most “useful” Landian concepts to understand yet it being so arcane and poorly explained managed to keep it so so obscure…

teenage-me was eager to point at linus sneering at c++ as evidence that c++ is useless but what i failed to consider is that maybe c++ solves problems that linus doesn’t have to face

I went to my mom's old storage unit today and found three computers I want to repair. The first is my old Osborne I. I used it for a few weeks in the mid 90s before I got the magic smoke. The second is my Apple IIc. It worked when I packed it up in '97 or '98, but the bottom is quite rusted now, so I'm worried about the condition of it. The last one is an Epson HX-20. My mom got it when she got the Osborne, but I've never used it. #RetroComputing #Apple #Osborne #Epson
