one thing that is abundantly clear to me is that metazoa came from mars
intelligent life existed on mars when it was still inhabitable
it stopped being inhabitable around the same time as the cambrian explosion
since the life there could not migrate due to having evolved for mars, they did the next best thing and sent organisms to evolve here
