ea rat culture should be more careful with weird shit, for weird shit = circling, radical honesty, maybe? :P
I suspect there's a tendency when doing this sort of thing to forget/discourage that discomfort is an emotion that belongs at the table too
maybe the correct way to design this as a social technology is to start out as making it a sex party and then iterate tamewards

Weird shit (circling, polyamory)≠Weird shit (wild animal suffering, caring about the long term future, AGI ruin)
The former I weakly suspect is bad, the latter is extremely important and losing the ability to consider it would be horrendous.
