Or possibly the hush-hush asymmetrical warfare wing of said organization was not entirely honest and transparent about their membership rolls.
I, myself, am a paragon of such virtues, and yet I must expect to be quite correctly disbelieved when I tell people that I am the sole member of my entirely harmless Anti-Coercion Book, Crochet, and Plastique-Filled Piroshki Club.
