Once, I used to be disinclined to participate in politics because I actively disliked everyone’s ideas.
Now, I’m disinclined to participate in politics because I can’t even with everyone’s mental illness.
I do not think this is an actual improvement.

if the US survives Trump we need to upgrade our laws, imo, to add more stringent requirements for being President. Trump alone has been like one big walking, talking exploit of all the old pre-existing (and well-known!) loopholes in our defenses. Almost like he was designed and trained *to* exploit our Achilles heel(s).
I no longer believe in "one person, one vote" thats for sure. After seeing how careless, illogical and insane so many millions of US voters are.
