What's the strangest phobia you've encountered in real life?
My gf has an incredibly strong alektorophobia¹, to the point where even *mentioning* chickens will make her distressed

She can't look at chickens without becoming agitated & wants to move away quickly too
This extends to other birds, with some birds being more okay than others (e.g. penguins)
