endless posts about "kink shouldn't be allowed at pride, there are children, those people are sick fucks" and barely any about "kink should be allowed at pride" so like ????? I get that there are existing patterns they're complaining about but... who are they debating WITH???

feels like a weird moral panic to center this around kink. I understand and wholeheartedly support wanting a family-friendly pride (speaking as someone who was kinda uncomfortable at pride as a young child) but "family-friendly" vs. "kink" is kind of a false dichotomy
So people hyper focus the stigma on specific parts, hoping the dissidents listen and don't repeat their behavior.
