wild how so many of my tiny life improvements over the past few years have involved giving up on some weird personal quirk & just doing things the normal way

i stopped:
refusing to drink coffee
refusing to lift weights
refusing to have a proper computer desk
refusing takeout
etc

and now, lo & behold, i don't have many of the weird problems i used to have, purely as a function of doing something unusual! i have more normal problems instead which there exist plenty of advice and known solutions for

wow! turns out i dont need to be unique in every way!
