one of my favorite hobbies is passing the ideological Turing fest, but adversarially

wherein I study, internalize, and learn explain my opponents ideology, simply for the sake of being maximally irritating

I'm quite good at it

consider, for example, the case of the humble tomato; is not one's relationship to it path dependent? when you purchase one at the store, as opposed to picking it from a plant which you tended to yourself, your material relationship to the tomato is quite different, ontologically

tomato (food) vs tomato (plant)

does not the former entail an entirely dialectic than the latter? a food tomato carries with it an entire set lifestyle implications and economic roles, and hence informs a radically different ideological position, used to justify the status quo

as such, procuring tomatoes thru the fruit of one's own labors (so to speak), necessitates an anti-capitalist ontology and set of material interrelations, a direct relationship with the means of production, and hence the earth-mother itself

this is all ofc Marxist nonsense

but it sure sounds good, doesn't it? if some asshole rattled that off to you at a house party wouldn't you start watching your wallet more carefully around them?

Inhabiting a single ideology allows others to simulate you accurately; this has consequences for your theory of mind
