it's difficult to explain to an uninitiate the nigh-religious reverence I hold for computation in its various forms; that which it is possible to achieve with the help of computers, the incredible abilities they grant those willing to learn their ways
this makes me feel things
there are so many of these hidden gems in our world, minor artifacts of a craft perfected, which few but the artisan and niche consumer will ever appreciate
this both gives me hope, and overwhelms me with the impossibility of finding them all
toolmakers enable our world
libraries like this are highly niche labors of love, the sort of thing only produced by protracted monomaniacal focus; it can be difficult to see their value, but if you know how to look at them in just the right way, you'll see that they're works of art
