while one was a CIA op enriching the Mexican cartels and the the other a memetic emergence supported by big pharma, what they both share is that there were deep unmet needs in both groups receptive to these pharmaceutical hooks

in the former, biomemetic disenfranchisement & resentment

well-adjusted people don't seek out chemical solutions to their problems; the question is whether the situation should be adjusted to or altered

so, what sort of maladjustment leads to endocrine intervention? psychic tension generated from a mismatch between sex (biology) and gender (memetics); a perceived or desired social role at odds with one's biological fate

RT @pee_zombie
we've been discussing for years how gender roles are taught to us by society, how we're pressured to adopt & perform them, how people can feel distress due to their inability/unwillingness to fit the…

@pee_zombie So if I'm reading you correctly - your definition of 'social contagion' is purely about propagation effects? The adoption of the printing press would count, yes?

twitter xp

@JCorvinus i'm using the typical definition, which yeah is about the p2p spread of memes

printing press... maybe, but that one is more driven by economic factors, so perhaps not quite the same. more comparable to the latest tiktok trend or twitter meme i'd say
