@StevenFan @jes5199 I just recommend the first-party servers unless people are willing to run one. I don’t really see it as anything other than an administrative issue, so unless it’s gonna be you or people you trust implicitly, let it be Mastodon employees, is my take. I am sure there are interesting niche servers in some middle layer that are organized to survive, but I’m so committed to the pirate ship model that I haven’t done much browsing around.
