for customers it’s an easy decision. workers don’t get sick leave. you want contaminated plague food? you want disgusting disease ridden restaurant slop? who knows what germs are breeding in that kitchen, soon to be breeding in your body. ew
for workers otoh it’s less obvious because maybe it’s their best option like sweatshops. but some ppl who used to be in restaurants report being surprised that other places have sick leave and lunch breaks so it’s maybe possible? who knows
