Morgan: I can solve your problem with my magic.

Mordred: At what price?

Morgan: I want to be court wizard and get funding for my magical research. When I run out of swamp toad bile, I want to be able to pay enthusiastic youths to get it for me.

Mordred: Seems like a bargain.

* Fifty years later *

Alice: Which swamp is it again?

Bob: Let me check the map.

* suddenly, an armed band of thugs leaps out from the bush *

Thug: Stand and deliver, villains!

Alice: Villains? Nay! We are but simple travelers who seek the swamp that lays beyond these woods.

Follow

Thug: Not so! You do the king's bidding, oppressing the peasants with backbreaking taxes.

Alice: And you help the poor?

Thug: Yes, for I am Loxley the Lethal, and my band of Merry Men rob from the rich and give to the poor!

Alice: You need to get better branding.

Bob: We don't work for the king!

Loxley: But you do work for Morgan Le Fay, court enchantress. Why else would you seek the swamp?

Alice: It's an honest paid job. No peasant oppressing involved.

Loxley: Not so! Morgan's pay comes from the king, whose wealth comes from taxes.

Alice: So every time we get paid... the peasants got shaken down.

Loxley: Exactly!

Bob: How did you come by such learning? I'm a bit of a scholar myself, and I've never heard of such things.

Loxley: if you wish to know more, set aside your time of spirit binding.

Loxley: Leave off studying the Necronomicon and instead study... The Economicon.
