In the last few days I've had several anxiety-inducing things complete.

I may collapse from lack of stress.

Which land is most accursed?

This is an important scientific poll; please boost for visibility.

Update. Turns out that John #Deere has been using open code under the #GPL w/o living up to the license. The Software Freedom Conservancy (@conservancy) is calling on it to comply — which would greatly enhance #farmers' #RightToRepair.

"We…publicly call on John Deere to immediately resolve all of its outstanding GPL violations…by providing complete source code…that the GPL & other copyleft licenses require, to the farmers & others who are entitled to it."

We could quarantine them all incommunicado on an island with no technology newer than 1920, if you want a humane option.

It's probably time to make sure that singularitarians can't do things. To protect the human race.

Regardless of their claimed stance on AI alignment, their continued existence increased the change of human extinction.

Note that refreshing your timeline too often will switch you to the "for you" tab.

Do Not Want.

If I tag @elonmusk will this get fixed? Place your bets.

is it a ring given to the elves, immortal, wisest and fairest of all beings; a ring given to the dwarf lords, great miners and craftsmen of the mountain halls; a ring gifted to the race of men, who, above all else, desire power; or a secret fourth ring?

I'm not a Catholic, but I know enough about them to be annoyed when people mischaracterize them.

They're going to be coming out with a _Lord of the Rings_ themed _Magic: The Gathering_ set.

Cassius: Brutus, might I entreat a word?

Cassius: Hail... Brutus?

Brutus: Caesar must die.

For extra humor they took a volunteer from the audience, wrapped him in a sheet and made him play Caesar.

I'd like to recount a scene from that show which I think will express both the humor and compression that it featured.

For the Ides of March:

Once upon a time, I went to ye olde renaissance festival, and while I was there, I saw a show entitled _The Bloody, Horrible Mass Stabbing and Messy Death of Julius Caesar_ (Shakespeare as it was meant to be seen: without the boring parts.)

@delca OVA is Original Video Animation, which used to mean a direct to video series, but now usually means bonus episodes included with the DVD releases.

(You'll also sometimes see ONA for things released online.)

Occasionally they'll have an official spot in the main series order, but those ones don't even appear on my go-to watch order list.

@delca first episode is the one with the ice alchemist where they're fighting in the city.

Second episode is a flashback showing how they wrecked their lives trying to resurrect their mother. They're young kids in that one, so might be mistaken for girls.

Third episode is the real start of the main timeline where they investigate reports of miracles to see if they're being done with a philosopher's stone.
