@lispegistus people are spinning doom scenarios that don't seem very plausible to me, primarily on the strength of <I don't like that guy.>

Seems like bad reasoning.

@xenophora I mean he's not making decisions or running the company or writing code or anything.

There's no opportunity for him to pivot to evil.

So I tried to add a private field to a class and the build broke because "Private fields in decorated classes are not supported yet", and I'm just like: what are we even doing?

Reminded again that <Trust and Safety> is a euphemism for <Power and Control>.

The pseudo-Aristotelian question either reveals your interlocutor isn't thinking straight or gives you important information you didn't already know.

They're speedrunning vibe deterioration over on bluesky.

@tootkoTootarov There are rules to an Alice and Bob sketch.

I don't have them all written down, of course.

I don't usually delete tweets, but leaving that one up would have been a public nuisance.

I was going to wonder how this got mirrored to fedi, but of course the answer is that the person who can't read blocked me immediately, so it didn't look like a QT by the time the reposter found it.

(I don't mirror QTs.)
