Personal Website Planning Thread
I’ve always wanted to have one, but I never wanted to have a simple Wordpress one and call it a day, this is definetly gonna be a “Long Now” kind of thing.
First: This is definitely gonna be a desktop themed website, I fucking love these websites and while it isn’t accessible by
phone, but the experience on desktop is so worth it. The two PC systems I’m probably gonna take inspiration from and blend together are original Macintosh OS and PC-98 games. What this is gonna look like I don’t know but I hope it’s interesting
For desktop themed websites in general, there’s an abundance on CodePen that doesn’t use a framework, so no frameworks here either.
I swear when Logseq gets its Plugin system together it’s gonna be so much easier to share these streams of thought
For Macintosh inspiration, imma see how http://kanye2049.com pulled it off. For PC-98, probably just gonna crawl the web for inspiration. Hope to throw some stupid wireframes soon.
