whatever necessary revelation there is, it's tacit knowledge, "embodied" or whatever. like a guitar player can't tell you how they do it, they just do it because the knowledge is embedded within
the ultimate tacit knowledge is knowledge about how to live, and why to live
for instance my friend @yantothebeast is someone i seriously consider enlightened and he's probably going to be surprised by my saying this
i'm slightly averse to learning about Spirituality™ because it feels like trying to learn to play the guitar by studying how a guitar works
as such, to understand the material world it's necessary to be tuned in to the spiritual. the modern (materialistic) world tends to ignore this, or sometimes do it without realizing. @michaelcurzi explores this in depth

at the same time there's a definite sense in which analysis breaks things up and loses meaning in the process- this seems esp true when doing it to spirituality
i'm not sure how to reconcile this with "wanting to reach enlightenment" which seems to be a paradox in the same way as "wanting to be happy"
that said it's clear to me that the spiritual and material realms are deeply connected and intertwined and overlaid over each other to the point that this distinction is actually fake
