just rewatched The Hateful Eight for no reason
love it when i completely forget a movie's plot so that i can watch it like brand new all over again
i like when a film is "symbolic" and "open ended" and barely makes sense but i also like it when a film is immaculately arranged and ties up all the loose ends like a neat little parcel
maybe you have to do one or the other to make a good movie - anything in the middle is a valley of halfway mediocrity
i just like it when it feels like it knows what its doing
a Schelling point for those who seek one
