This is your sadly necessary reminder that inexpensive space, Mars, self-driving cars, and electric vehicles are Good Things, and turning against them just because Elon Musk has gone more bugfuck than a swarm of cicadas makes you a stupid, evil, actively world-worsening person.
(Or at least one who has fallen victim to one of the slightly less well-known classic blunders, but I'm all out of understanding these days.)
On that same note, should I ever go batshit and pro-deranged-evil, I will be sure to get really into, oh, cheap housing and food abundance first, because the sight of all the polit-brains in the world rendering themselves homeless and starving to pwn me would be hilarious.
Y'know, if I were to become evil. Which is the premise of the whole thing.
Right now it's just sad.
