The most surprising things to me was how pro-masking the respondents are, and also how uncontroversial requiring bivalent boosters is.
@jefftk i also observed this phenomenon in my own interest-based communities, which are predominantly hyperconservative when it comes to health risks; suspect this has to do with the sort of person who ends up being "into" things also tending towards autistic, which nowadays is strongly associated with leftist beliefs
@pee_zombie I do think there are more autistic people in the contra dance community than in the broader world, but it's still a pretty low fraction
