My opinion on Donald Trump as president is inseparable from my opinion on Barack Obama as president, which is inseparable from my opinion on George W. Bush as president, which is inseparable from my view on the functioning of our government as a whole.

Basically, the Patriot Act and Guantanamo blackpilled me on the idea that our government would actually respect our rights. Obama blackpilled me on the idea that the Democrats were any better than the Republicans.

So when Trump arrived, my opinion was <they're all terrible. This guy may be a new low, but he's a change in amount, not kind.>

We probably shouldn't elect a king every four years. Directory government makes a lot more sense. Enforced collegiality works well in Switzerland.
