Listening to popperians makes me think their theory enforces seeking knowledge for its own sake, which makes it a trap for nerds who'd like for knowledge to be the only valuable thing
At least bayrats have a concept of akrasia, which creates tension that propels the ideology forward!
@niplav I would have thought a concept like akrasia would show up whatever your epistemology, just to explain why people act contrary to their beliefs.
