I'm doing the autist thing on this now, because I just want to know if it's true.

so my path was:

to
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GC-81f-Penc
to
https://thegrayzone.com/2021/12/24/leaked-files-syria-psyops-astroturfing-breadtube-covid/
to the "Leaked documents" link to an uploaded .pdf

attached is a screenshot of the first page of the 6 page document. I don't know how to prove authenticity of documents, so from here I lazily assume it's real.

The document claims that Valent Projects is proposing a project to be funded by the Royal allegation is that the Royal Institution to

>design an intervention in collaboration with YouTuber Abigail Thorn who runs the highly popular channel Philosophy Tube.

for the purpose of

>The findings will be used to devise a campaign that utilises YouTuber Abigail Thorn’s existing platform to achieve a measurable cognitive shift in the target audience
@niplav @lain if true it would mean that PhilosophyTube literally became a psyop by glowies.

The Jimmy Dore segment claims that people with Valent Projects also did psyop shit to try to manufacture consent to invade Syria, like faking footage of war-crimes.
@lain @niplav

you'd think someday I'd start proof-reading post, but....

>The document claims that Valent Projects is proposing a project to be funded by the Royal allegation is that the Royal Institution to

I meant

The document claims that Valent Projects is proposing a project to be funded by the Royal Institution to
@lain @niplav my only experience with PhilosophyTube was watching a video that claimed to be about philosophy, only to discover pretty quickly that it was commie rhetoric, barely even disguised. It was low-quality, but the graphics were polished and the YouTube algorithm seemed to like it, a lot. This actually had me already suspicious about the channel.

@aven @lain
wow, thanks. I didn't know that. i still try not to read _too_ much into this: it's one cooperation, with the royal institution which looks like it's not really a government thing. but it seems bad that youtubers don't disclose their source of cooperation 😐

@aven @lain also, funnily enough, this seriously makes me question the integrity of Abigail Thorn – isn't she supposed to be in opposition to institutions that are mainly funded by the royal family? maybe i shouldn't judge, this is 1st class consequentialism, allying with whomever one can get
