I'd really like to ditch KDE and go back to using a simple window manager but I'm not sure what to go with

Stumpwm is appealing because of CL but I don't understand its UI yet, I used FVWM for a long time but don't want to touch its config language ever again, and I used i3 for years before that but I remember it being rather inflexible
