I wonder if the amount of suffering in the world is always constant
that doesn't really make sense actually, because if you drowned half the world in acid then the other half would probably suffer as well, and at any rate they wouldn't spontaneously feel happy

Although in a panpsychist universe I could see a conservation-law style regularity pop up
