had a dream I was talking in Clubhouse about how interviewing at Google had changed since the start of the pandemic
also, men were barred from speaking, but women could instantly get a speaker role simply by pressing the push-to-talk button. most didn't realize this tho. wtf.
it was a totally off-the-cuff talk, nobody else was speaking so I was like "hmmm what's something this audience might find interesting" so I went with... that.
haven't even conducted any interviews since pre-pandemic (including in the dream) so IDK where that even came from or where I was drawing my experience from. it was basically like "well I guess formerly in-person interviews are also phone interviews now, so talk about that"
at one point I quipped about how it's uncomfortable to conduct an interview while sitting on your bed. turned to the person next to me (I was sitting next to some dude while doing this talk?) and was like "think anyone will ask why I don't just sit at my desk while at home?"
