there's nothing inherently wrong with this, either. there should be space in society for ecstatic experiences, ideally guided by a shaman. some religions provide for this, such as pentecostals with their speaking in tongues.
but this does not belong in the professional sphere.
to claim that being expected to control one's self, temper expression to fit affect within standard norms, is harmful or oppressive, is a bit of a reach. this is a childish social regression, another instance of the pendulum overcorrecting.
