the continuous furor over BTC's energy usage, as well as anti-China sentiment, may lead users to seek out "proveably-ethical" UTXOs, ie mined using "green power" & by miners not in China
this may generate demand for UTXO-provenance verification services, which certify origin
these effects, + the natural tendency of traders to differentiate assets so as to capture price-insensitive consumers are likely to lead to a tiering of the crypto markets, which will set the stage for credit ratings to make it into crypto, as larger institutions seek credibility
