been thinking that mb people are getting sick more lately (not w/ covid) bc they've been ~sitting home for a year and not getting exposed to anywhere near the normal ambient background viral/bacterial load they'd typically get, and now have decreased immune function as a result

recently had a minor week-long illness which didn't seem to be covid & I'd recently been around way more people than I had been in the previous year

not the only one w/ this story either

wonder what will happen to flu rates this winter since people won't sit home like last year

I should also mention that this is surprising bc I'd previously basically never get sick, at all. ofc working out way less contributes too but overall I'm just 🤔🤔🤔
