been excitedly brainstorming on a project idea & just barely managed to resist the impulse to start immediately maniacally coding on it and stay up all night by accident
progress? or am I just old now?
in a way having less stamina is a boon as it forces me to be more methodical
in the past I would have just started immediately while the excitement was fresh and kept going until I got a basic prototype working, and then collapse
potentially for several days in a row
rather suboptimal if you want to maintain a certain level of normal life function
this pattern certainly got me to churn out a fair number of cool projects over the years, but they mostly all fizzled out once the initial excitement faded; a classic ADHD pattern
hoping this time I do things differently, in theory having learned from my very many mistakes
