I've long carried the Litany against Fear in my psychological back pocket, so to speak; it's come in quite handy in some of my toughest moments, helping me remember who I am, and that the fear isn't real. I used to think it was cringe to sincerely use it but got over that quickly

fiction is chock full of banger mantras; I've cherrypicked a few here and there to build my cognitive tool kit, utility memes to whip out when I need a hand.

I enjoyed the Dune series, altho I've forgotten much of it; but the Litany has stayed with me all these years.
