@rose oh yeah it doesn’t support split tunneling to route just a select app through anything like tor or vpn as I remember, maybe that’s why it’s impossible
@rip_imho @rose I really wanted to try it and looked up *one* of the issues (years ago):
- On iOS it seems there are hard restrictions on running background services. These are needed so Briar can keep a connection with your peers.
- To protect metadata, Briar can not use push messages, so both peers would need to have Briar open at the same time to get each others messages
