Was happy to join a very constructive & interesting meeting on gender equity, diversity, and culture in academia at @snsf_ch's #Primaleadership program.
I think this was the magic for me: nobody I talked to looked at it through the lens of oppression. I used the word oppression once, but I was the only one.
It's good to remind ourselves that beyond the twitter identity wars and the awkward silence there's a whole world of reasonable people who want to improve our society together.
