sci fi setting where interstellar travel hasn't been invented, but interplanetary travel is pretty standard and every planet in the solar system has been terraformed

after all anyone who can still read that poem could read an instructional sign that explains radiation, or just grab a preserved pre-catastrophe physics textbook

anyone who can’t instead sees square miles of salted concrete with spikes that play painful ultrasonic notes when the wind blows through them or something idk
