======> [S] Sussus: Be the impostor

dream physics, armchair neurology

I've often heard the cliché in dreams where it feels like no matter how fast you try to run, you'll barely move.

The way I see it, your brain sends the commands to run to the legs, but since they (obviously) don't respond with the sensory signal of your feet hitting the ground, it gets reinterpreted as running in place or on slippery ground.

But what is really fun for me is that my brain has chosen to reinterpret this as running in low gravity, so in lots of my dreams, if end up skipping around, flipping over obstacles, and using my hands and arms to move around, which is really fun! =)

It kinda blew my mind this morning when I realized why my dreams had this weird physics quirk ^^

guy who is bound by the king's pact and can be neither seen nor heard

guy (superhero / vigilante?) who artificially increases their happiness after their family is killed so that they are constantly energetic and motivated so they're best positioned to take revenge

"has jeff bezos solved world hunger" gimmick account but it's instead "has jeff bezos built the launch loop yet" (lofstrom's estimate: $10 billion. launchloop.com/LaunchLoop?acti)

SimEarth has absolutely odious DRM - every time you try to start it to play it, it INTERRUPTS YOU to verify you're a legitimate owner. But it's so fun, quirky and SimEarth themed - asking you for astronomical data about Earth, Mars or Venus from the manual - that it can be forgiven. Also you can just google the table in the manual that helps

What if Simearth but more, because now we have computers with basically unlimited processing power so basically every aspect of the Simearth simulation could be improved and fleshed out

ACCUSATION: i am mad
FACT: i'm actually laughing right now

if Twitter is so good, why didn't they make a Twitter 2?
