Leftists trying to redefine "unity" to exclude 46% of the population.

If you really thing Trump was a Nazi, then learn the lessons of Nuremberg.

@Coffee
In this case I'm referring to the plan of prosecuting the leaders and Hard Cases, and letting the vast majority of the Germans have a clear line to back away from the Nazi ideology and just live their lives.

@Coffee
If people really want unity, they have to be willing to forgive (and unify with) the average Republican (who probably voted for Trump.)

So many people are calling for unity through eliminating all the MAGAs. That won't work.

@WomanCorn True that.

For a moment there I thought you were going to say that we should put people on trial. I think that will happen, and while that is necessary, it won't put a dent in anything. We have much bigger problems.

@Coffee
(I think trials would be a waste of time, in general, but...)

A small number of high level trials would be better than an ongoing miasma of <are you now, or have you ever been, a Trump supporter.>

The key is that ordinary people need to be able to have ordinary lives without loyalty checks.
